AIMP is a pretty powerful mobile music app. It supports the most common types of music files, including large ones like FLAC, MP3, MP4 and more. You also get tons of customization options, themes, and other great stuff. The app has a simple user interface and we had no problems navigating and listening to music. It keeps it simple with a decent Material Design interface. We also appreciated the excellent equalizer, HTTP live streaming and volume normalization. It’s definitely a step up from most simple music players. There is also a desktop version if you want to kill two birds with one stone.

Dedicated Android Auto Music Player App Receives Welcome Update

BlackPlayer is a simple yet elegant music player that puts very little between you and your music. It works based on a tab structure and you can customize the tabs to use only the ones you really need. In addition, it has equalizer, widgets, scrolling, ID3 tag editor, no ads, themes and support for the most used music files. It’s surprisingly simple and a great option for those who love minimalism. The free version is a bit bare bones, while the paid version offers many more features. Fortunately, the pro version is cheap. Since our July 2019 update, the free version of BlackPlayer seems to be missing in action. We will check back in a few months to see if it comes back.

JetAudio is a long-time user favorite because it has enough features to outperform most, yet is easy enough to use. This one has a lot of sound enhancements that come in the form of plugins so you can change your music experience a little more than usual. It also comes with an equalizer (comes with 32 presets), simple effects like bass boost, tag editor, widgets and even MIDI playback. The free and paid versions are almost identical. The paid version simply removes ads and adds themes. You can also enjoy it for free if you subscribe to Google Play Pass.

MediaMonkey is a bit of a dark horse in the music player software business. It has tons of features, including organizational features for things like audiobooks, podcasts, and the ability to sort songs by things like composer (rather than just artist). It also has basics like an equalizer. What makes MediaMonkey a truly unique music player is the ability to sync your music library from your computer to your phone (and back) over WiFi. It’s a bit complicated to set up, but it’s a pretty unique feature. Despite the learning curve, the mobile and desktop versions are one of the best one-two combos, even if the desktop version is a bit more expensive.

Musicolet is a no BS music player. It has many desirable features, including many that you don’t often associate with music player apps. It features a true offline experience, a lightweight user interface, and a small APK size. In addition, the program has multiple lines (another rarity), equalizer, tag editor, support for embedded texts, widgets, folder browsing and much more. His no-nonsense approach is refreshing. It’s a great option for people who want a music player that plays music without any frills. It’s also completely free, with no in-app purchases and, due to the lack of internet access, no ads.

Best Free Music Apps For Android For Legal Music

Neutron Music Player is another music app that isn’t as popular as it probably should be. It has a 32/64-bit audio rendering engine that is (according to the developers) independent of An OS. The idea is that it helps the music sound better. It also has many other features, including support for more unique file types (flac, MPC, etc.), a built-in equalizer, and many other audio-specific features. It’s a bit expensive and the user interface is definitely not the best on the list. However, everything else is fine.

Phonograph is one of the few good open source music programs. It is simply called. light and easy to use. In most cases it works. It has a classic, simple material design user interface. Moves quickly as needed. You can also change the theme if you want, but the theme editor is not particularly powerful. Along with this, you get integration, tag editor, playlist features, home screen widget and some other navigation features. It’s very simple and a great option for those who want to listen to their music undisturbed. This app is also available without in-app purchases with Google Play Pass.

PlayerPro Music Player is another lesser known music application that should get a bit more traffic. It has a beautiful interface that makes everything easy to use along with skins that you can download and install for more customization. You also get video playback support, a rare 10-band equalizer, Auto and Chromecast support, various sound effects, widgets, and a few fun features like the ability to shake your phone to change tracks. It even supports Hi-Fi music (up to 32-bit, 384 kHz). You can demo the app for free before shelling out $4.99.

Android Music Player Application

Poweramp has long been one of the most popular music players for many An users. It has a sleek interface with themes that can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. Sometimes the interface can be too clever for its own good. Otherwise, it’s fast, efficient and powerful, and there are themes available if you want to go that route. The app also includes many playback features including continuous playback, crossfade and supports several types of playlists along with automatic support. You’ll also find widgets, tag editing, and other personalization settings. He is a power player who seems to hit the right note with almost everyone.

Puslar is definitely one of the best music players out there right now. Features include beautiful material design, tag editing, continuous playback, smart playlists, sleep timer and scrolling. Puslar also has Chromecast support and some of the best An Auto support we’ve seen of any app on the list. It’s not as feature-rich as some of the paid options, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s bad. This is a great option for those looking for something small, light and beautiful. The Pro version is cheap and only adds a few extra features. There are no ads in the free or premium version.

USB Audio Player Pro is the king in its niche. It works great as an audio player for almost anything. It comes with UPnP support, little extras like seamless playback, a 10-band equalizer and an attractive functional interface. However, what this one sings about is really for the audiophile crowd. The app supports up to 32-bit 394kHz audio with support for FLAC, MKA, DSD, SACD and a host of other audio codecs. It also works extremely well with USB DACs, as well as HiRes DACs such as those in LG phones. This is good because most other music players don’t do it very well. You can even stream music (via TIDAL, Kobuz, and Shoutcast) through this app to take advantage of your hardware. It’s a bit expensive and those without dedicated DACs definitely won’t need anything like this, but it’s better for those who use such equipment.
