Can’t Install The Application – I just pulled my app to the Google Play Store, and the signed apk was successfully published. However, (and I tested this on three phones and tablets), the app refused to install when downloaded from the store. When you click the “Install” button, the program will be downloaded, its status will be “Installing…” and then the following dialog will appear:

Note: This is a big problem for google because most of the answers point to the client side, meaning users get this error when trying to download apps.

The above provides more information. dex2oate seems to crash with SIGSEGV in the driver. I will continue to wander; for now, it doesn’t seem very common

For some reason I see the detailed stacktrace now. Note that the token assigned to dex2oat is now

(As mentioned in my post, the first one doesn’t run, the second one does, and checks both flavors

I am using a lollipop phone. I removed the settings that were already installed in the Youtube app. Today I tried to update this app from play store. It gives “The application could not be installed” error with error code 910.

I had the same problem when I tried to upgrade my Snapchat app to the alpha version by following a tutorial on the XDA Developers forum. After completing the course, the program will not be properly uninstalled, run, or reinstalled. The solution (for me) was to uninstall the broken software using ADB.

Can’t Install The App On Your Device Error On Android (fix)

I have had the 910 error for a few days. I then resolved the issue using the following steps:

I have “ejected” the SD card via settings, tools, storage. I don’t have to remove the card from the phone.

Unfortunately none of these answers helped me. So I downloaded the latest Youtube apk from a third party site and installed it properly. The program works well. But in play store it still shows my previous app and ask to change. Later I think I need to switch from apk only.

It happened after a reboot and two initial installation attempts. The program that does not change is “Google”.

For me it was the Wish program. It would download and show up with that error.

I moved it from my external SD card to internal storage again. I changed it, then put it back on the external SD card, but it said I have no space. I know what I’m doing with reality (I have a 512GB SD card, plenty of space). I turned the phone off and on for a few minutes and it worked fine. So if it moves to an external SD card, that’s probably it.

I had the same problem! I fixed it by removing the sd card from my device. I don’t know if the error will come back when I restore, but I was able to install the software.

I have successfully tested it on my device. So I moved the published version to the Google Play Store. Today I downloaded the debug build on my device and tried to download it from Play Store. But when I click the install button, I get this error.

I only use Google Play services. Don’t use storage or anything that might be different for different users with Android L. What changes can I make to my app source to fix this?

I fixed the problem by uninstalling the debug version of the app and clearing the Play Store app data.

Data/data folder. Find the appropriate folder for the app you are installing from the play store. Then remove that folder. [Note: Here you will lose all data related to this program]. Now go to play store and try to install the app again. Be sure to correct your mistakes.

It didn’t work for me. I don’t know if it’s because I’m on a lollipop device.
