Cleaning Service Application – Disclaimer: Although LocalClean was developed locally, this project was created as a requirement to complete a Binkam Academy Bootcamp class. This project is also a team effort in collaboration with the product manager from Localin.
Let me first introduce myself, my name is Dita Juniarti. Social media expert who wants to become a UI/UX designer. I currently work as a social media administrator for a real estate company, sometimes as a freelancer. After completing this Bootcamp I want to work as a UI/ux designer or researcher.
Cleaning Service Application
In about 4 months I made 3 prototypes. The first prototype I made was Kabari, the second was a redesign of the Binary Academy mobile app, and the third was the LacalClean app. At this point, I will explain the LocalClean prototyping process. I will explain the other two prototypes on another occasion.

Before I start explaining the LocalClean prototyping process, I want to briefly explain what LocalClean is. LocalClean is part of the LocalClean brand. The company creates an app that can offer different services depending on where the user is located. For example, if you are in Jakarta, Localin will provide various services available in Jakarta. In the context of LocalClean, it provides the user with cleaning services available in Jakarta. This is a brief explanation of LocalClean and Localin itself.
After this introduction, I will explain how LocalClean came to be. This article will explain each step of the design thinking framework, empathizing, defining, idealizing, prototyping, and testing.
In this step, we will do 3 main tasks. The first thing we did was plan the survey, create a survey and carry out the survey.
All the steps we mentioned earlier for this phase were implemented as a Localin company. So here is a summary of the research.

From the built-in POV and HMW, we can create a user journey and customer map to visualize the user ordering a cleaning service.

From the user journey and the user mapping, we conclude that several pages with orders for house cleaning services must be made more user-friendly in order to make the application work.
Although LocalClean is a product defined as an application that uses Geo-Location for local product discovery, we focused on optimizing the flow and user experience for ordering services.
In this ideation process, we decided to take several steps before creating the interface. Steps:
Some models require more steps, but we have chosen to do this because it is easier than others. In addition, we have enough information on how to create an app.
Effective Cleaning Service Postcard Design: Making A Lasting Impression
After creating a POV, HMW and customer journey map, the first thing we did was create a flowchart for the LocalClean app. This was our plan for creating LocalClean. This flowchart step is the longest step in the ideation stage for our group. Conversations between us, the design team, and the product team made this step a bit longer than we expected. And this is the result of the flowchart we created, which will be used to create LocalClean.
Once the flowchart is created and agreed between the design team and the product team. The team used this as a basis for creating a framework. Before thinking about making a frame, we first made Crazy 8s. Well, in the script we created about 8 UI pages based on the previous flowchart and decided which one worked best. But in the process it was modified to suit the team’s capabilities. Here is the result:
These are the crazy 8s results our team made. Each of them has a different interface design with its own functionality. Therefore, we discuss which interfaces we want to implement in the wireframe later in the application.
From three crazy 8s designs, we decided to mix and match the components that worked best and put them together to create a completely different wire frame.

Based on the results of the discussion and the implementation of the crazy 8s, we decided which design to use. The next process is to create the frame we created in Figma. And this is the result of the framework we created:
When we create wireframes, we also create some interfaces that help users navigate through the application. One of them is a context menu that saves orders. As an illustration, it works like a shopping cart menu on some e-commerce websites. The difference is that we do not make it a full page, but only a floating menu that is available when the user performs the service. This will help them convey a sense of professionalism and formality that their customers will surely appreciate and feel.
