The Discord App Is Ending Support For 32 Bit Windows Operating Systems On December 1
There are several easy ways to discover apps. The newest (and most interesting!) method is to visit the App Directory, which you can find in Server Settings > App Directory if you’re an administrator or administrator, or visit the App Directory here.
You can also enter a slash (“/”) in your chat input to display a list of application commands already available on the server: application icons are listed vertically on the left. Last but not least, you may be on a server that already has multiple applications installed. Check the server member list for names with the “bot” tag – that’s the app!
You need to type a slash (“/”) in the chat input bar to see a list of all slash commands available on the server. If you’re on a server that already has apps, there’s usually a lot of people interacting with it already – ask your servers what the slash commands do, or have a friend use them. See if you’re too shy to try them yourself.
First, you must have “Server Management” permission for yourself or your role to add apps to the server. If you have the necessary permissions, you can access the app directory from the server settings.
How To Build A Chat App Like Discord?
You can also use the “Add to Server” button from the application profile. After using the App Catalog or the Add to Server button, you will see a drop-down list of available servers that you are allowed to add the app to. First you’ll be asked to grant the necessary app permissions (every app is different!), and then you’re good to go.
How do I know what information the application will have access to when I add it to my server?
See picture of required permissions above? When you go to add an app to your server, it will show a list of what information the app will have if you proceed. This usually involves accessing your username (just the username, not the whole account!) or knowing which servers you’re on (so it knows where to go!).
Everything listed here is needed for the app to work its magic, and each app has different requirements. Once you’ve said you’re OK with what it needs, you’ll see a list of checkboxes for permissions you’d like to give the app — just as you would a user — such as send messages (so you can can chat with), manage, control. Manage nicknames, member operations or emotions and stickers.
What Is This Domain That The Discord App Is Contacting The Most? It Sounds Like A Tracker.
Some developers include a command in their apps designed to help you, such as /about or /help. You can also visit the official app server listed on the app page in the app directory.
Sometimes their server is just for support, while others are for fans of the app, where they can check out the latest iterations that are released by the developer and meet others in the app’s fan community.
As described in our Terms of Service, the App Developer is responsible for the App, and you should review any terms and policies provided by the Developer that apply to its use.
Many apps offer customization, such as adding your own questions or more detailed statistics to the DIY app. Sometimes this is part of their premium app subscription offers, which you can learn about in the next question which is…

Spread the word! Tell others about the app, add it to your other servers so more people can see it and spread the love! Some developers may be looking for feedback on their app, so connect to your official server through the app’s directory page and see if there are any opportunities for them to help.
And soon, you will soon be able to sustain their business with financial support! We’re currently testing premium app subscriptions, which means you can subscribe to an app you love while they still have a premium offering.
You can do this in the app directory, on your integration page in server settings, or in the app’s user profile. Once subscribed, you can manage your subscription in User Settings > Subscriptions.
Note: Premium app subscriptions are in closed alpha at the time of publication. You can find some apps in the directory that already have it! If you are a developer with a premium offering and want to apply for the closed alpha, you can do so
