Facebook Peek Application – These hacking campaigns are organized through stolen Facebook profiles that feature legitimate AI services that allow users to view new and expected content.
Attackers are using Facebook’s advertising platform and hacking sites to promote Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, such as MidJourney, OpenAI’s SORA, ChatGPT-5, and DALL-E, to spread malware on user information.
Facebook Peek Application
These malicious campaigns are organized using stolen Facebook databases that act as legitimate AI services, allowing users to check the latest updates, according to a BleepingComputer report.
Bulletproof Facebook™ Ad Toolkit
When tricked by ads, users are directed to a fake Facebook community where actors threaten to give the impression of reality. However, these posts often lure users with limited time to the upcoming AI service, causing them to download malicious implementations that look like real software.
The malware used, including Rilide, Vidar, IceRAT and Nova, focuses on stealing sensitive information stored in browsers. This includes a lot of information, including login information, cookies, cryptocurrency wallet information, autofill information, and credit card information.
Stolen data is sold on online black markets or used by hackers to slow down the victim’s online account for fraudulent activities.
Another popular campaign involved a fake Facebook page claiming to be MidJourney, which managed to amass 1.2 million followers for nearly a year before it was shut down. It is not new content created on this site, but stolen from existing information and transferred to the fake MidJourney site.
Facebook Ads Infographic Sneak Peek
Scam posts on this site trick users into downloading malicious software by promising a desktop version or promoting a missing version of V6. Additionally, some posts trick users into creating NFT technology and making money from their creation.
Advertising figures used in these campaigns show attention to men aged 25 to 55 in European countries such as Germany, Poland, Italy, France, Belgium, Spain, the Netherlands, Romania and Sweden.
Instead of relying on traditional file sharing platforms like Dropbox or Google Drive, the organizers of these campaigns used integrated websites like the official MidJourney website. Users have been tricked into downloading what they believe to be the latest version of a professional tool through a GoFile link, only to find Rilide v4 malware disguised as a Google Translate extension.
Although the original fake MidJourney site was taken down, threat actors continued to launch new sites with more than 600,000 members who continued to distribute malware under the MidJourney service name.
Ways To Increase Facebook Subscribers And Followers
This incident highlights the seriousness of malicious social media tactics and highlights the need to be more careful when dealing with online advertising.
The sheer scope and inconsistency of social media platforms like Facebook allow these malicious campaigns to continue for a long time, facilitate the spread of malware and cause a greater risk of infection.

If you’re an iOS developer, things like logins, backups, and push notifications took weeks to build. Today, project developers have more flexibility thanks to cloud tools. Companies like Amazon, Facebook and Microsoft are starting to realize how important it is for developers to build great apps with their technology. Facebook in particular has gone to great lengths to build robust services for developers to build apps. Today, we live in a very different world than we did five years ago.
Over the past few months, I’ve been working with Gabriel to develop an app called Peek. He has already written an excellent article detailing Peek’s beginnings and origin story. You should read it before moving on to the next article.
I would like to write a few words about the technical aspects of Peek. With cloud services, great progress has been made in reducing development costs. Peek is a great example of this future body.

I built my first app on the Parse platform in 2013. That was the first time my eyes were opened to the enormous power of software that can help people build better software. Parse is the first Y Combinator to seek to address the needs of developers seeking support services for their applications. Parse removes this struggle, so developers can focus on building their app. With a few lines of code, you can download the Parse library into your application and get started with their platform. Over the last few months, Parse has become very useful, especially for small projects that need to be built quickly.
Normally, you can interact with Parse using native Objective-C or Swift code. However, there is a problem with this. In app agencies, developers and app keys can be vulnerable to others. If someone has access to these keys and knows how to handle server calls, it can cause problems. So we don’t want problems.
To solve this, Pase implemented Javascript Cloud Code. This service allows you to export Javascript code to Parse where it is stored securely. All server calls then happen through JS instead of the client. Cloud functions are called by the application and return the data received by Parse.
Sharing gives you a simple one-line introduction to Cloud Code. Using a combination of commands, you can find a bunch of files in your app directory that you can edit and push to the Cloud. It’s similar to git push, you can just type a line in the terminal and it will update the code with Parse.

As we know for the past five years, mobile app hacking has been a problem. The criteria for proper acceptance are not clear. Need to sign in with email? How do you keep their information safe? How to get a profile picture? How do you know they are real people?
When Facebook introduced the Login API, it changed a lot of things. With its introduction, developers don’t have to worry about how to authenticate users or find emails and names. With a tap, the product can be interacted with.
With Peek, we chose to use Facebook login only in the first version. This saves us a lot of work. Profile picture, name, email and password can now all be managed thanks to Parse’s great integration with Facebook login.
In Peek, we need to find the profile picture and link of friends. Facebook’s graph API performs these hundreds of tasks with ease. In the first version, when you add friends to Peek, we remove from Facebook your friends who are already using the app. Although we plan to develop this further in the future, building on the existing social structure means that we can overcome this difficult process. Here are some examples:

With Parse and PFFacebookUtils we can access useful methods. Logging in as a user is really easy once we’ve set up the Facebook app.

This is just the tip of Peek! More posts coming soon. You can check out our website and sign up to be notified when it’s on the App Store soon! Follow Gabriel on Twitter and follow Kyle on Twitter. Facebook has made a very interesting change to Inspiration Creative that you may not have noticed or heard about. There is an option that is only available when Dynamic Creative is enabled and it is called Creative for All.
