Google Earth Application For Pc – This page is for CSC version 1.1. Please check the CSC home page for the latest release.

This document introduces the CSC Google Earth project, a service that allows you to visualize CSC data in the sky with Sky in Google Earth. We believe this initiative is the first real-world use of Google Earth mission data. Searching the sky by source name or coordinates is a quick and easy way to find out if CSC Release 1 includes lunar observations of a source.

Last Update: March 3, 2011 – CSC KML version 1.2 has been updated mainly for infrastructure changes and cleanups. The fields to view all “processed” observations have been updated to include an additional 165 observations not included in the previous CSC KML 1.1 release.

Hobbyists and scientists can now view the Moon’s X-ray universe without a satellite telescope – using Sky on GoogleEarth. The Google Earth feature turns your gaze outward, allowing you to view images of celestial objects in the sky through the eyes of some of NASA’s major observatories, such as the Chandra X-ray Observatory. Lunar Source Catalog images and data are now available with this software so you can scan the X-ray sky, find objects of interest, or search for specific lunar observations. (Note that from the CSC image

Downloading and using the CSC to Sky interface on Google Earth is easy – just upload a CSC KML file

File brings images from the Moon source catalog just a click away. Field of view information is also available to see the footprint of each observation on the sky.

Image contours representing the area of lunar observation can be faded with the Google Earth transparency slider. Hovering the mouse over the CSC sky will highlight individual observations in red, and with a click, an “Observation ID” box will appear with the name of the target object and the observation identifier (Chandra ObsID).

You can zoom in on the images using the +/- navigation bar or the mouse button to view the 3-color ACIS soft-medium-hard images and enlarged HRC images from the catalog. In expanded view, you can access the list of catalog resource properties for an individual resource by clicking the yellow “CXO” icon above. To find a specific source or scene, you can use the menu on the left side of the app to search for location by name or location, or

The latest version of Google Earth is available for download on Mac, PC and Linux; Check out Google’s tutorial page for features. For a complete list of system requirements, see the Google Earth help documentation.

CSC data is available on Google Earth in a KML (Keyhole Markup Language) file, a file that can be viewed in the Google Earth geo browser.

Google Earth handles KML files in the same way that web browsers handle HTML and XML files: you can create a KML file containing tag structures with names and attributes for specific display purposes in Google Earth, Google Maps, and other applications.

PNG images are used in CSC KML because this format is supported by Google Earth’s image transparency feature. Because earlier versions of Google Earth do not support PNG on some platforms, it is recommended to download the latest version of Google Earth for use with CSC KML files, version 6.

Simple Google Maps Tips And Tricks You’ll Want To Try Today

If the Google Earth window does not open automatically after you download the CSC KML to your computer and you have downloaded and installed the full Google Earth application, please do the following:

After downloading the CSC KML to your computer, open the Google Earth application and select “Open” from the File menu to download the CSC KML file to your computer.

File named ‘cxo_1.2.kml’. If you are using a recently released version of Google Earth, switch to sky view when prompted. If not, click the Saturn icon at the top of the app and select “Sky” to view images of the moon in the night sky.

Running the Google Earth software from a web browser with the Google Earth plugin is not recommended because the CSC KML file is too large to use with the plugin. To access CSC data in Google Earth, you must disable the plug-in from your browser and call Google Earth as a full program downloaded and installed on your computer.

The file lists the CSC Release 1.1 core sources currently displayed on the screen. Yellow “CXO” location markers are displayed with each main source when the view is zoomed in approximately 2 degrees. Clicking on the source location icon expands the balloon with catalog property information such as name, position, stiffness ratio, source search flags, and variable pointers; You can learn about all the resource properties in CSC here. Zooming out to show more than two degrees of sky finally removes the location markers.

The subfolders contain a list of lunar ObsIDs sorted by the same number, the first with the field indicator, the second with the corresponding 3-color images based on the instrument’s energy range. Check the box next to it

Department. A single click on the ObsID link will bring up an information box with the ObsID, OBI and source name for that observation (see image below for example); Double clicking will take you to the corresponding location in the sky. Searching the sky by source name or location is a quick and easy way to find out if CSC Release 1 includes lunar observations of a source.

The file contains a trace of the on-sky observations of each processed moon – all observations updated frequently from the start of the mission to the “date” listed in the file. The box next to this file is unchecked by default; Selecting it will display the field of view of all lunar observations with the following color codes:

Please note that imagery data is not currently available through Sky on Google Earth for observations not included in CSC release 1.1, as shown in the image below.

Right: A view of ObsID 620 with the lunar archive field shown in green and the CSC Release 1 replay field shown in white. Note that chip 6 was inserted in version 1 of the CSC, so the green area in the image to the right does not have the CSC data symbol.

When the mouse cursor moves over a line in the display area, the outline of the area changes color (red); On clicking on it, information about the ObsID will be displayed in a balloon. when

The file has been checked, viewport images are color-coded to distinguish between different types of lunar observations, as described above See CSC data with Sky in the Google Earth section; When it is not selected, thumbnails appear in white.

For each ObsID, the images directory contains three PNG images, one for each of the three zoom levels. At the highest zoom level, ACIS images have a resolution of 1 arcsecond/pixel (blocking factor of 1) and the two lower zoom levels correspond to blocking factors of 2 and 4; For HRC images, the blocking factors are 2, 5 and 12.

This solution was chosen to reduce the data loading time by 3 times. Images at lower levels of visual acuity use true color, while images with the highest blocking factor have pseudo-color with 256 intensity. This is also done to speed up loading times; The eye can hardly tell the difference between these two types of images.

Everything outside of a CSC PNG image with a sky background has a value of “null” (“no number”, meaning no data) and can be any
