Old Fund Application – There is now a bigger CPF grant for HDB flat buyers following the announcement in Budget 2023 on 14 February 2023 (Valentine’s Day, no less).
The government will give more support to first-time buyers of resale homes. Specifically, the CPF housing grant will be increased by $30,000 for families who first buy a house of 4 rooms or smaller and $10,000 for those who buy a house of 5 rooms or larger.

First time home buyers will be eligible for this enhanced CPF housing grant from 14 February 2023 at 3.30pm. The additional grant amount will be credited to their CPF account from April 2023. Combined with the CPF Enhanced Housing Grant and Adjacent Housing Grant, eligible families can receive a grant of up to $190,000 when purchasing a second home!

Of course, the million dollar question is when will this grant get to you? For those unfamiliar, the CPF grant (for the purchase of a new or resale HDB house) is “credited” to your CPF account. This will then be used to purchase HDB flats.
Scenario 1: By 15:30 on February 14, 2023, all valid customers who have not completed the resale transaction, you will receive the grant and within 3 months after the resale is completed, you will receive the grant funds. This is very generous, as it means that the change will actually apply to non-resellers. (
Scenario 2: Eligible buyers who submitted a resale request between February 14, 3:30 PM and March 31, 2023. Payment is not made before closing, but within 3 months after the resale closes. I think it will take some time for HDB to process things with the CPF slab.
Scenario 3: Eligible buyers who apply for a resale after April 1, 2023 will receive funds before the sale closes, according to normal procedures. Then life is normal.

Scholarship money can be used for things like clinic fees, horse show fees, basic show clothing, lessons, land conservation/nature education. Scholarship money cannot be used for things like vet bills, food, supplements.
After the program begins, successful recipients are asked to write a 250-word impact statement about how they will use the scholarship funds and what the scholarship will mean to them after the deadline. (Impact statements may be used in future advertising, promotions, etc.)
Write a 500-word essay on what you would do with the scholarship money for further education and why you would be a worthy candidate (see instructions below)

Covid 19 Emergency Fund Application For Older Foster Youth
When I think about it, I think more about the ways in which it not only saved my life, but gave me meaning and direction when I believed there was none. I have three things for this: land, men and horses.
I’ve never found it easy to meditate or be alone with myself and my thoughts, but there’s something about sitting at a picnic table next to a gazebo, looking over the rim, to the west and further west. a wide area that can soothe anyone’s heart. I spent hours there, enjoying the sunset and the summer breeze that soothed my mind for the first time. Sometimes, when I’m absent and my mind wanders on troubled threads, I close my eyes and imagine I’m looking at myself. In fact, some of the only thoughts of “success” I’ve seen in my mind, whether it’s remembering the horse tracks or seeing some of my best friends in their garden grazing on the spring grass.
When I was young, I had no idea what my life would be like at the age of 27. In fact, sometimes I can’t see myself in the next year. The future is always unclear. I didn’t know what I wanted to do, what I wanted to do, or who I wanted to be. The longer I spent there, the more worries and uncertainties disappeared, thanks to the leadership of the strong and ambitious women who were built and still are today. I owe my life to Pam Molyneux, Jenn D’Agostino, Susie Williams, and most of all, Allison King. From childhood I learned from Pam that she trained me to be self-disciplined. I quickly learned that if I was going to do something, I had to do it well, not right. As a student at , my mentors and supervisors, Jen and Susie, truly taught me how to be not only a good person, but also kind and loving. As simple as it is, it is one of the most important lessons I have ever learned and has become an important part of who I am. And at a time when I knew who I was, but not where I wanted to go or what I wanted to do, Alison King took me by the hand and pushed me out into the world. It was his support and guidance that pushed me to step into the unknown, which at the time meant getting a master’s degree. There is little I can put on paper to emphasize the importance of Alison’s guidance and friendship during my early years. Alison, I wish I could find and match all the words here – luckily I think I’ve told you all at one point or another.
As my favorite author Neil Gaiman said, “There’s something about riding a unicorn, for those who can do it, it’s like no other experience: exhilarating, intoxicating, and good.” That’s when I realized that all horses are unicorns in their own way if you take the time to get to know them and understand what gives them their magical horns. Thanks to , I have met many unique people and have been privileged enough to call some of them my best friends. Nothing soothes my heart like Profit in hair or shoulders, or Leckington not-so-subtly asking me to stretch my neck with a good massage before his class, and I look forward to a quiet afternoon at Pahlavan when he is. dinner and listen to my stories, problems or recent successes.
