Since 2014, the city of Batam has started the process of introducing Pushkamas recognition from the coordination and implementation of recognition managed by the Health Department of Riau Islands Province. In 2015, the Batam City Health Department organized training facilitators to assist community health centers that were prepared for accreditation and provided speakers/journalists on support needs and conducted training within the Batam City Health Department. Participant Information Puskesmas has test approval levels that are grouped from low to high, which are: non-approved, basic, medium, major, and general. This rate is based on the achievement of the respective health center in the results of the 3-day accreditation study at the health center.

In April 2017, Sekupang Health Center became the first health center in Batam City to undergo the accreditation review and receive the middle school certificate results. And, in the same year, there were two health centers as a result

From the Ministry of Health, which also conducts accreditation tests including Sei.Pancur Health Center and Sei.Panas Health Center. And the credit test results of the two pushkams also got the same average certificate as the previous pushkams. In terms of process and results, it is a good achievement for Batam City because it is in a good category among the provinces of Riau Islands.
In 2018, 100% of the 12 POSCOMs scheduled to undergo validation studies. And the results also increased, out of 12 community health centers tested, only 2 community health centers received the Intermediate Certificate (Bulong Health Center and Sambau Health Center). In addition, 10 primary health centers are approved, including: Puskemas Tiban Baru, Sey.Langkai, Botania, Baloi, Batu Aji, Kabil, Galang, Sey. After Lekup, Padang and Lubuk Baja. This achievement is a very good achievement for the City of Batam, considering that Pushxmas, if approved, will be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of services both in terms of managing service delivery and in executing activities. Service recipient satisfaction with quality services and the hope is that with the many major results achieved by Puskesmas in Batam City, Batam City will be a study/comparative study area with places outside Batam to increase regional income and visit Batam City.
In 2019, there will be 5 more community health centers in Batam City including Tanjung Sengkuang Health Centre, Tj.Buntung Health Centre, Tj.Uncang, Rempang Cate and Kampung Jabi Health Centre. Out of these two old health centers and three new health centers were established in the last 2 years. If we refer to the results of amazing success year after year, due to the increased experience, knowledge and infrastructure available in Pushkamas, there is a great hope of getting the title of public approval.
