By manually controlling the horizontal movement of the mini camera, you can get the same view you would get if you were in the rear position, as with a normal camera. This can be seen when moving the camera left or right. This is because these orientations appear to change when you look at the camera.

Initially, the default home position is a 180° pan position at the USB port and a 90° tilt position at the bottom (straight up and down, looking forward). You can set or change the home screen in live view. The default view mode allows you to return the camera to a saved position.

You can also move it around the room by selecting 360 Degree Overview from the multitasking menu. Click it and the pan-tilt support will return to the initial position right, left, from any position, giving you a full 360° view of the room.

NOTE: When the active area is installed on a mini camera attached to a pan-tilt mount, the inactive area will change its field of view as the camera moves. For example, placing an action zone in the upper right corner of the camera screen disables this corner for any camera movement.
