Titan IVB Display Model

94.95

This hand-built pre-assembled display model is an approximate 1/114th scale replica of the Lockheed Martin Launch Vehicle with a 5 meter fairing and two strap-on solid rocket boosters.

The Titan IVB configuration was used 17 times. Its most notable launch was the Cassini-Huygens mission in 1997 which placed the spacecraft on its journey to Saturn. The Huygens probe safely landed on the moon Titan and operated for a short duration.

The model is made of PVC, ABS plastic, styrene plastic, a finished rectangular wooden base, and highly detailed vinyl wraps simulating the smaller external details and the skin of the fuel tanks. The detail parts on this model are made with a professional grade 3D printer. The parts are made from ABS plastic which is lightweight but very strong.
